WideKilns01 is wonderful, you have made the kilns look both majestic, and
at the same time, approachable, WideKilns03 is a pleasant enough
composition, but needs the detail available from large format film to really
succeed, Fire01 is hot, Column01 is another shot that deserves large
format, as is the desk, and TwistUrns02, is a little weak, but the scene has
potential, I would like to see what it would look like with the camera moved
a foot or so left, and a little higher. From looking at the scene from the
other side in TwistUrns05, I don't know for sure if there is anything
beside the camera to impede it's placement where I am suggesting.
Again, a large format would help with this composition by encouraging ideal
camera placement without the geometric distortions that a fixed body camera
is bound to invite.
AncientGreek01, FremontWinn, and TwistUrns05 don't do much for me.
For the most part, I like the monochrome conversion that you chose, I think
the three that I am not so fond of may be improved with a little more
contrast.
That location looks like a photographers dream.
You have a good eye, That's a very nice gallery.
Your pictures deserve a Tachihara.
