Hi, And why not the SMC FA 80-200/4,7-5,6? Pretty good stuff. And for the same reason as stated below I would't recommend the Tamron 70-300. IMHO it's unacceptably soft at longer end - over 200 mm - so there's no reason to pay for that additional 100mm if one never uses it because of poor sharpness (Lack of sharpness was visible even on 4x6 enlargements and the pics were taken from a solid tripod) Greetz Artur ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alan Chan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, July 22, 2001 6:43 AM Subject: Re: Tele zoom question | You might also consider SMC PENTAX-A 70-210/4 if you don't mind manual | focus. As for the lenses you suggested, I'd go for the FA80-320. I have | reservation on Sigma's coating technology and built quality (I used to have | a few Sigma lenses). | - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
