I'd be surprised if Casio were making the firmware. Most of Pentax's point-n-shoots, though designed by Pentax, are built by Sanyo (as are a many of Nikon and Canon's, BTW). I'd expect Pentax engineers to still write the firmware, though. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
