Hey, folks! In an effort to stimulate the gear-headedness around here, I thought I might mention a little problem I'm having with an M series lens. The blades won't stop down past f16. I can see marks on the blades, so it's fairly obvious where f22 should be, but moving the aperture ring from 16 to 22 does nothing. The linkage moves, so going from 16 to 22 does affect the meter reading. I rarely use f22 on this lens and I haven't noticed any exposure problems with other settings. The blades respond quickly and do not appear to be sticky at all. They also look dry and I can see no oil on them.
