Thanks, Ken. This is precisely why taking a lens apart scares me. I always seem to have parts left over.
A couple of years ago I attempted to perform a CLA on a Kodak Ektar in a Wollensak shutter. After spending about two hours crawling around under the dining table looking for the missing parts I finally got it back together. it works almost as good now as it did before I took it apart. And that's good enough.
