Have a look on Hamrick's website. He mentions such an adpator which is
known to work with the Nikon and Vuescan.
I had an LS2000. I got rid of it. It does not work well at all on
traditional black and white negatives. If you plan to do black and
white scanning this is not the scanner to buy. If you plan to scan
only color and chromogenic black and white it works very well.
