Speaking strictly for myself, Juan, I have an Optio 550 as my constant
walkaround camera; I've had it a year longer than I've had my DSLR, and
would highly recommend it ... but I didn't answer because you specified
you wanted a camera that uses AA batteries, and this doesn't.
My son owns an Optio 50, which does use AA batteries, but I don't feel
that I know his camera well enough to recommend, or not recommend, it to
a photographer.
