I was just glad I'd snapped some shots of that pirate ship a couple of years previously.

But Bob, the left hand that is pointing at us... My immediate impression was that it wasn't a full arm - something's been cut off... Probably I am too sensitive or something, but do you see what I mean? I am not sure that the lance or whatever he is holding is supposed to be held that way... It probably is, yet the way he extended his finger is odd...


That's a sword he's holding, arrrgh! I wanted it pointed right at the camera.

After some active gesturing I managed to convince my wife that the position of the finger is unusual...


I trusted him on this. He's an expert swordsman and teaches other actors how to do swordplay in movies.

Regardless, this is beautiful photo shot in a beautiful day...

Thanks. Yes, we were blessed with gorgeous weather on that trip. We were there in February, the ideal time to visit the islands.
