I think bob's point was that even though animal rights fanatics are hurting the environment by releasing non-native species into fragile areas, poor practices with fur farming has done just as much or more damage and well before the activists were on the scene. Poor enclosures that don't stand up to bad weather or allow easy escape, etc.


The animal rights activists would do more good by forgetting about the wefare of rodents and turning their attention to puppy mills.
