It's not. IIRC Molson brews Bud in Canada (Might be Labatt, but I'm pretty sure it's Molson), and the difference can be noted by a straight comparison. Which I've done (I've done this with other brands too, most notably Kokanee, which differs greatly depending on where it's brewed, Fosters also differs, but not as much). The basic recipe is the same, but that's subject to significant tweaking.
