I mentioned that this was scanned on an Epson 3170 in support of my earlier disclaimer of the scanner's ability to make a satisfactory scan of a 35mm. (all my 35mm scans are done commercially). In my inventory, this particular shot is unsurpassed in terms of revealed fine detail. I am, however, wondering what connection you're making between sharpness and color fidelity. May be a minor point that you can take up with yourself. It was shot on a misty day in a wooded area in very flat light. The kind of day you look for to produce vivid true colors. There is no way of my seeing through your color cones and no way will I attempt to convince you of what you're "seeing".
