This is just a quick little adjustment using curves to adjust the skin tone
a bit. I didn't try to tone down the overly bright highlights over her
right eye or on her lips.

Thank you, Shel. I would probably struggle with words, while you so
easily produced a visual example...
I should say that I spend certain time with "Selective Color" tool in
each of my b/w conversions... I am starting to get a feeling that I may
actually know what I am doing ;-).
