I shoot photos for magazines and stock. Most of my work now is for a Sunday supplement mag called "At Home." It's currently going to four US cities. I do two articles a month for them. I also do a few for enthusiast car magazines like "Mopar Action" and "Super Chevy." I'm on the stringer list for the New York Times and get a few scattered assignments from them. I also pick up a few scattered assignments from ad agencies. Some through a rep company here in Detroit. My stock is sold through alwaysstock.com. Photography is not my primary source of income, but it has recently become a bigger chunk.

I am now shooting exclusively digital. RAW only, converted with PSCS. I have two *istD bodies and keep 13 lenses in my working box, including three of the new DA zooms and ten assorted primes. I used to shoot medium format with a Pentax 6x7 and 35mm with an LX and MX. I have portable monolight studio equipment (SP Excalibur 3200s) that I use in my basement studio and on location. And I think that answers all your questions.

Shel's question got me thinking about all the "pros" I see with Canon
and Nikon hardware. Who's using their Pentax gear to make a buck or
two, what gear are you using, are you using film or digital or both,
and what kind of jobs are you doing?

I was thinking about this last night. It seems that most everyone on the list, at least from the usual gang of "regular posters," has made the move
to digital. Who hasn't, and who have no plans to do so in the near or
foreseeable future?
