Seems, you got the point:
Pentax cannot win: if pentax will create something unique, others will say:
that sucks just because it does. If pentax will create something similar to
C*** or N*** others will say: that sucks even more because it's copied from
whatever. Maybe digital is a way out.

P.S. Sometimes it seems that Pentax users are kind of outsiders... I'm glad
I'm using a Pentax: I don't want to look like "pro", but I'm trying to make
better pictures than those taken with "pro" EOS300 users (people still
think EOS300 is much more "pro" than any of pentaxes). Sometimes I succeed.
Pentax is not the mainstream, Pentax is one step higher, don't ask why, I
can't answer - I just like Pentax :)
