I had an Angenieux 70-210/3.5 (I think it was an f/3.5) for a while once, and found it to be quite good (with a better macro function than a lot of other "macro zooms"). As I remember it, though, it was a bit odd (for me) to use - it was a 2-touch zoom (a little unusual for a 70-210 zoom back in the manual focus days), plus it focused "Pentax-backwards", as I recall (of course, that's not that unusual for 3rd-party lenses). I was impressed with the lens, and, by extension, with Angenieux. Fred
