FWIW, here in TO, at the major shops (Henry's and the recently demised Alt),
SP's and SP500 and 1000's go for $100 to $125, and SP II's for maybe $125 to
$150, with a 50 or 55 mm lens.  Some shops, like my repair shop, Komineks, sell
them for up to $200.

I don't think yours is outlandish, but it could probably be gotten for less.
But, hey, if it's in A1 condition...

BTW, sorry to hear about your bike.  Bummer.
