Technically a fine shot, the colour is beautiful, but I think it needs either more, or less. Pull back to include the rest of the knife & fill the extra space with more "props" or get in closer & focus on the detail of the tomato's.
But then again I could be talking out of my you-know-what. Throw in some red onion, cloves of garlic, basil, extra virgin olive oil & some lightly toasted crusty Italian bread & you've got the makings of one of my all time favorite's: bruschetta.
