G'day All, Firstly, best wishes to everyone and I hope you have a happy & healthy New Year.
When I met with Rob last year he had with him his neat panorama head. I was very impressed, so not long after I put one together myself. It's excellent and makes the job of stitching panoramas together much easier, especially it there is close in foreground objects. The only problem is you can't use it with the camera in the portrait orientation. In search for a solution to this minor problem, I had a look at many of the commercially available 'L' brackets, but I ended up thinking I could make one cheaper. For those interested in such things, I've put together a small web page showing what I ended up with: <http://www.arach.net.au/~savage/Misc/LBracket/Misc_009_1.htm> <http://tinyurl.com/bh7vy> It's not as slick as the one's you can buy, but it does the job, and it should work well in conjunction with my next project :-) Cheers, Dave
