The context of the discussion/posts was limited to the viewfinders.
We werent comparing the cameras as a whole...What surprised me was
the contention that Nikon didn't have any viewfinders as good as
the MX VF in their SLR history...
We don't linit discussions on this forum.
You should know that by now.
However, to keep you happpy, the F2s has the nicest viewfinder of any
of the Nikons I have used.
Whether it is as nice as the MX finder, I don't know, I haven't
bothered to compare.
I do know that the MX finder is exceptional. The Nikon finders tend to
be a bit smallish, but more accurate than Pentax finders.

The only Nikon finder I've liked anywhere near as much as the MX's is
the non-HP F3. Lovely finder. But the readouts suck (Especially the LCD
one, the aperture window is OK, but not nearly as nice as the one in the
MX). The Shutter speed, metering and aperture readouts are where the
MX's finder truly shines (And rises above anything else I've used,
although that's mostly Nikon and Pentax for MF gear). The FM2 and FA
were truly atrocious low-light cameras due to the metering readout not
being readable in most non-bright light.
I assume you're referring to the 100% view on the F series by 'more
accurate'?
