Hi Juan ... I've been tod that it's OK to just drop it in the machine. However, I saw a black one that had been laundered and it looked pretty bad, frayed edges, really washed out color (as opposed to natural fading). I've never washed mine, and I'm not sure that I will unless something awful happens to it.
