Adam, i scan on the maximum resolution.. no help... some how, i think
the problem related to the minolta software ONLY, because the older
TIFF files are opening just fine in PS. So now, i have to scan the
TIFF's, open them all in IrfanView, save as TIFF and only then PS will
be ready to process them :(
i'm kinda frustrated :(

Any other Minolta DiMage Scan Elite II scanner owners in the list ?

Thanks

This probably doesn't help, but it sounds like a file header problem. If an
image file can be read in by another program and saved with that program then
work with PS, the program that saved them cleaned up the header.

AOL actually has one nice thing, it's a gallery picture viewer. I have often
been able to use it to read in image files that say, PaintShop Pro, will claim
are not legitimate formats. Images I've downloaded from the Net. I resave
them through AOL's gallery viewer and then PSP can read them. It's rewriting
the
header somehow. It is actually the best program I've found to date for that.
It recognizes all files -- errors in headers do not deter it. One little gem
buried in all the AOL fluffy stuff.

Maybe the header thing will help you narrow your search for solutions.

Maybe not.
