Are you using filters for contrast, or a colour
head?

I tried a colour head, and both Kodak and Ilford
filters. I tried Ilford Multigrade developer and
Dektol. I went through a 25 sheet envelope of
the stuff making test prints of a negative that
had printed easily on Forte warm tone and
couldn't get anything that I was happy with.
Ah well, I still quite like Multigrade IV and
Gallerie.
Perhaps a developer change would have been in
order.
