Hi, anyone uses the Vivitar 3700 Flash with TTL module
with the Pentax digital SLR? I have one that I used
to use with a Pentax Super Program and then later on
with the PZ-20, ZX-5, ZX-7 and PZ-1P film SLR. It
worked great with film SLRs. When I first tried to
use it with the *ist D, I was getting overexposured
photos in TTL flash mode. It would work fine in the
automatic mode which uses the sensor on the flash to
detect proper exposure. I later found that if I set
the camera to aperture priority mode and the exposure
compensation to minus 1.5 stop (which puts the camera
in flash compensation mode since the shutter and
aperture setting do not change), then the pictures
would all come out fine in TTL flash mode. I am
wondering if others are having the same experience
with the Vivitar 3700 flash?
