The Samsung GX-1L rumored to be released with 9mp sensor will probably 
mirror the Pentax *ist D2.  I'm almost willing to take bets on that.  
We'll know real soon now.

I think we'll have to wait until somebody here has actually
tried the Samsung camera before assuming too much about the
supposed differences.  I think it's quite possible that the
same 'green button' trick (with the AE-L button, I believe,
on the DS) could still work.  The normal operation of the DS
could be described as not stopping down the lenses during
metering; maybe there's just a simple misunderstanding here.
