Oh I know people that know photography know about Schneider. But they are
not Samsung's target market.

Apparently, just a name.
What's strange is that even if many potential camera-buyers nowadays
are more likely to have heard of Samsung than Pentax, it's extremely
unlikely that they will ever have heard of Schneider-Kreuznach. So
what's going on? Did some bright S-K man convince the Koreans that
S-K is a household name in Europe and the Americas?
If so, it ranks with scams like selling London Bridge to an Arizonan
who thought he was buying Tower Bridge.
