This last weekend I decided to exercise the Leica a bit. I went out and shot one full roll of Tri-X. It was interesting not having an LCD to chimp off of, and one or two times I tried to take two shots in quick succession without advancing the film :)
What was fun was just after finishing the roll, I put the M6 away and started shooting with the istD. I shot about 40 pictures within 20', and the interesing part was that I wasn't chimping *at all*. Somehow I reverted back to my old Leica shooting mode, and didn't feel the need to check on my pictures. Instead, I was free to just look for new ones. I think I'll put some black tape over the LCD now :) j On 1/18/06, Malcolm Smith <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > During December I rarely used a camera and when I did, it was for those sort > of pictures that required onward transmission quickly (eBay postings, school > concerts and Xmas pictures of the children to e-mail to relatives etc) and I > noticed how easily it was to get used to instant results. > > This morning I got out my LX and realised how much I've missed shooting > film.
