Somebody posed this question to me a year or two ago and for the longest
time I just _couldn't_ answer it. It's a very tough question.
All things considered, for me it would be a black M6 TTL 0.58 with a black
35mm Summicron-M ASPH, both bought new. Not exactly my favorite camera, not
exactly my favorite lens, but that's what I'd feel most secure with under
the stated conditions.

P.S. Reasons: M6 because it's reliable, portable, and quiet, and works
without batteries; 0.58 because I only get to pick one lens and that camera
has stand-alone 35mm framelines that I like with the focal length; black
camera because they're less noticeable; black lens because they're lighter
than the chrome ones; and ASPH version of the lens because I know I'd need
to shoot wide open at times.
