My tests showed the DA14 to be be greatly superior to the A15 in sharpness, clarity, contrast, and freedom from distortion on my *ist- D. Thinking my A15 might need repair and/or recollimation, I sent it to Pentax for service (twice), but I saw little improvement. It works OK on film, but on digital I'll take the DA14 any day
I expect I'll come to like the thing then. I notice the manual focus seems quite stiff. Is this normal? William Robb
