The Super-Takumar & SMC Takumar 20mm F4.5 lenses suck. Not only
do the have a very noticeable geometric distortion, ( barrel) they
are only sharp in the middle third of the field of view. Edge and
corner performance is horrid. I've used 3 different samples of these
lenses and they were all the same = SHIT! I have a Mamiya/Sekor 21mm F4
M42 lens that I bought for $150 that gives much better performance in all
respects.
