I used one of my "good" chisels the other day to roughly re-rebate a lock striker plate. Wet weather had swelled the door and cause it to jam on the badly fitted piece and in a fit of irritation and in bad light I grabbed the first chisel I could lay my hands on and fixed it. Of course there was a hidden nail which completely trashed the edge. Not happy.
