Perhaps part of it is because *some* Catholics (notably the Pope and his side-kicks) make greater attempts to impose their beliefs on the rest of us than most other religions?

And perhaps it's because those doing most of the bashing are from a Christian background themselves. It's within the family.

I feel entirely at ease giving Christians hell, but would pause before meting out the same to those from other religions. And anyway, I'm only getting my own back for the long hours of religious nonsense forced upon me as a child.
