I recently picked up the 1.4, for the Sigma 300 f 4 i have.
I used it on a film body this past (PZ-1)weekend and the sharpness in the
finder was very
good. I have
not developed the roll yet.Next week in class, if CUPE does not strike.
I will, hopefully, be trying it out this weeknd. I want to shoot some pictures
of the 155
year old farm
house we used to live in, before the developers tear it down so they can build
a bypass
road in the
spring.
Funny thing. Our town has a heratige committe, but will not save a house.
Several landmark
buildings
have come down recently.
Markham, just south of us, make it a priority. You can buy them for $1.00 but
you have to
have them
moved. Markham even bought 10 acres and subdivided, so these fine old homes
could be
bought ,and
if need be,buy a lot in the heritige subdivision.,then moved to them. Its quite
the
street. Newest home
was probably built in the late 1800's.:-)
