IIRC, it's built on the same chassis as is the MZ-S. The size of it looks like it's exactly as big as an MZ-S with the vertical grip on. I suppose the "grip" part is fully integrated into the chassis, though.
What's more, the K-1 has PowerZoom contacts in the bayonet. :-) Jostein
