Evolution is a theory. Like any other theory, it can be disproven, and replaced with something that works better. Given what we know today, it's what works. That doesn't mean it's a belief system, it means it's the best proof we have as to how life on earth has become what it is today. Simply saying "it's a belief system, and it's no more or less valid than any other belief system" doesn't cut it. One must disprove it scientifically and rationally, and replace it with a more workable theory, IMHO. <snip> > > One thing is for sure Frank, and that is that I respect your right to your > own personal beliefs and views. I think we are in accord here, Tom. I don't belittle anyone for their beliefs, nor do I try to change how they feel. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
