There are numerous examples of 'ring species' which demonstrate speciation, even in the USA. The ensatina salamanders are one example. As for the fossil record, biologists can confidently show a continuous sequence of transformations for a very large number of transitions, including the transition from Australopithecines to our own species. The nature of fossilisation means that they can never show a complete record for all species. Can theologians show a complete record of God's activities on the day he created Adam's earbones? Bob
