The Ricoh XR-7 is a very nice little body, it seems to be Ricoh's version
of the ME Super, but improved it many ways. I have the XR-S (same camera)
and use it quite a bit. Aperture priority or manual, shutter speeds
1/1000-16s + B, 1/125 sync. Full information viewfinder (optical aperture
readout like KX/MX), electronic self timer, DOF preview, multiple exposure
switch, ASA 12-3200 with EC -2 to +2 in 1/3 stops. It accepts a date back
and a winder. The XR-S has solar cells, the XR-7 doesn't - that's the only
difference between the two. If it's in good working order, I'd say the
XR-7 is the best camera in the lot, and probably cheaper than those
K1000's. BTW the K 55mm F1.8 is a good match with the Ricoh.
