In fact, I think that outside of Pentax realm, no-one really knows the
subtle differences between *istD and all its siblings... Usually, if I
tell people that my photo gear of choice is Pentax branded, it suffices...
Godfrey, I am with you at this time. You're absolutely right - if you
have this very camera in your hands, it absolutely does not matter what
is its name...

How the heck to you pronouce *ist? Pentax is easy to say, *ist isn't (I
normally just call it an ist, but that asterisk is a little confusing)
