I once had the tape deck stolen out of my car while it was parked in my garage one night. No big deal - it was a cheap tape deck and I just replaced it, as I had been meaning to do for weeks, with the top-of-the-line Nakamichi TD500... which had been sitting on a shelf next to the car while the thief went to all the effort of removing the junk unit from the dashboard. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
