Not quite - because I was trying for a nicely back-lit shot of a gull
in flight but the sky is a bit washed out and the tail is cut off.

Whoa, fantastic. I like the first one, even if it is a bit cropped. It
has a fine weightless sunny feeling. Second one is superb too, but not
as airy.
