so why *that* would be problem? many DA lenses, e.g. are not
very useable on film bodies anyway. i thought the idea was to
be able to use older glass on new bodies. one would not
*have to* buy all new glass if he gets the camera -- that was the
original objection, wasn't it?

btw, if they added a shift mechanism to that hypothetical extention tube,
that would be quite interesting, don't you think?
