I knew a cat who would turn on the electric burner on the stove, sit on the burner until it was too hot, and then walk away. He'd never turn the burner off. I couldn't figure out why, every time I'd come to visit him, the stove was on, even though I turned it off. I only found out about his routine when I called his caretakers, and they explained the feller's behavior <LOL>
