Cat's don't turn things off. We had one who figured out how to turn
the water on in the kitchen sink when she was thirsty, but of course
always left it on. The same cat figured out how to open doors in the
house by standing up on her hind legs and using one paw on each side
to turn the doorknob. But, of course, she never closed the door
either. Every cat owner should just be grateful that cats don't have
hands!
