Be real. The fact is that this is the way all the modern cameras, new Panasonic L1 excepted, are being designed. If you don't like it, you're out of luck because you won't be able to buy anything in the future that works the way you like.


I wasn't complaining about the interface but the way the interface was programmed. I hope a future high-end Pentax will have user programmable interface so that the user can decide what wheel does what and what way it should be turned. Aperture rings are still on new Pentax D FA lenses and more of them are expected in the fall...
