Thanks for all the replies. The answers did make my choice a bit easier. 
 The problem now is actually finding the camera I want. Tried B&H, 
Adorama... Looks like I will have to go local and try to find the camera 
around here. Will my FTZ500 work with my *ist DS, meaning full TTL and 
major functions? Would it be wiser to buy a new flash as well?
