I said much the same thing a couple of years ago. A year ago I said I
wouldn't buy a reduced image circle lens.
I recall calling the istD a crippled whore.
At least I didn't call it a cheap plastic toy.
Anyway, you might change your mind when you can no longer buy film.....

Considering you can still get sheet film, I think film is here to stay.
I don't think Kodak or Fuji film is here long-term, but the small makers
(Foma, Efke, Ilford) are going to stick around for the art market, which
is big enough to keep them alive. Prices will go up though.
