Agreed. The 24-90 is so sloppy you think it's going to come apart.
However, the pictures are as sharp as you could wish. To restore your
faith in AF zooms (the MF one were generally fine), buy an SMCP-DA 12-24.
It only moves about 3mm when zooming, and is as tight as Scotch parson.
