Funny - this guy mus be VERY honest! And perhaps not too carefull with his lenses ;-). They are probably great anyway. I use very little deturgent (for dishes - sulfo), preferably demineralized water, and later (naturally) lens paper. I clean lenses only once or twice in it's lifetime. That is NOT too often, I believe. And I use a blower without a brush. I prefere not to touch the elements at all.
I alwasy keep them in a cupbaord, a camera bag or in use on the camera. I try not top leave a lens on the camera (will ruin the aperture action) and always stoped down, naturally - and standing rear elemenet up with protecting filer (UW or Sky) and caps - at lest the rear cap on. That's all. Jens, We are not pulling your leg. Read the listings that Igor references. The guy TALKS about bright spots on the rear element of his lenses. He is not referencing bright spots in his ebay listing photos. Regards, Bob S.
