I sent an email to a friend, a Yahoo subscriber, and received this info: A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: (recipient's address was here) 554 Message type not allowed. UP Email not accepted for policy reasons. Please visit http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/defer/defer-04.html [#4.16.3:120]
Clicking on the link suggests that my message was "phishing" or fraudulent, or that something in my message triggered an alarm to the simple Yahoo computer brain. It was just a simple email message of the type I'd been sending her for years. <sigh> Shel > [Original Message] > From: Doug Brewer < > Rick Womer wrote: > > Mine seem to be coming through fine, Doug. > > Can Yahoo be sending a false "bounce" > > message while still letting the mail through? > They could be rolling it out on different parts of the system.
