Godfrey, I know most of these things. Just my question was whether core imge
can do operations on real files stored in main computer memory or only on
display to accelerate preview of settings and effects. Funny, I remember
that older Photoshops have used video color lookup tables animation on video
card to show changes in some image settings like colour balance,
brightness/contrast and some others in real time :-)
