My system seems almost too easy. For an 8x10 I scan at 2400dpi in my HP S20
scanner, go to Image..Image size (uncheck the Resample Image box), change
width or height to 8 inches (depending on whether landscape or portrait
orientation), crop the long side to 10 inches, then adjust levels and
sharpness, then print.
